Laminate Floor Installation

Consider the Benefits of Laminate Floors for your Office or Home:

Versatility: Laminate can simulate natural hardwood materials, natural stone and ceramic materials. The surface texture can also be simulated to imitate these materials.

Convenient Packaging: Laminate planks are usually sold in convenient 4 foot strips and are also available in modular form.

Low Maintenance: With relatively low maintenance, laminate is easy to clean spills. Regular sweeping or vacuuming to remove loose grit and dirt should help avoid stains and erosion for many years.

Stain Resistant: Laminate features a clear, protective layer to aid against stains, UV light and discoloration, making it a great material for sun rooms, hallways and other high traffic areas.

Great for Allergy Sufferers: Laminate is naturally resistant to mold and bacteria growth. Allergen treatments and antibacterial solutions may be used to further decrease the presence of allergens in the home.

Durable & Scratch Resistant: Everyday wear and tear doesn’t stand a chance against Mohawk Laminates with ScratchGuard™ Advanced Finish Protection. ScratchGuard infuses aluminum crystals into the top layer of the laminate floor for incredible surface protection and making it the perfect choice for high-traffic locations. Most manufacturers add features to their laminate to make them very durable. Please come by and see the different selections of laminate we offer.

Easy Installation: With adhesive-free methods of installation available today, you can simply roll down a sheet of underlayment material, and then snap the planks or tiles of the floor into one another. Ayoub Carpet Service can install laminate with ease. In some cases, laminate can be installed on top of old flooring materials, as long as the old materials are in good condition. Since the laminate would be interlocked, as opposed to glued down to the sub-floor, the material can expand, or contract, due to changes in pressure and temperature, without buckling and snapping. Hardwood requires 3-6 days to acclimate to the indoor temperature and relative humidity, where laminate can be installed in under two days.
