Ayoub Carpet Service can make your rug look NEW AGAIN™ with our in-plant rug cleaning services. In fact, we have been cleaning and repairing all different kinds of rugs since 1952! Consider having your rug cleaned by our experts to experience the look of having a brand-new rug in your home.
The Pre-Inspection
A pre-inspection, to determine what type of cleaning process is best for your rug, is always the first step of our cleaning process. Our experts can tell you exactly what your rug is made of, where it was made, and whether or not it requires a specialized cleaning process. We understand that no two rugs need the same care, as we have cleaned a variety of rugs, such as Persian, Chinese, Indian, Afghani, Pakistani, and much more. We will thoroughly look over your rug to determine any necessary repairs it may require, and then provide you with a detailed report of the state of your rug.
The Standard Cleaning Process
Once we have completed our pre-inspection, we will begin the cleaning process. Our standard cleaning process starts with a tumble dusting to loosen dirt and dust in the fibers. Next, your rug will receive a thorough hand wash on the front and the back using a rotating soft-bristle brush, a high-volume rinse, a detailed scrub of any fringe, and a final rinse through specialized machinery. We will apply spot and stain treatments as necessary and depending on the severity, place your rug in a climate-controlled drying room for up to 12 hours, and then finish with a final grooming of the fibers and the fringe.
The Specialized Cleaning Process
A rug may need to go through a specialized cleaning process if it is silk, antique, or another type of delicate area rug. It may also require a specialized cleaning process if it came to us wet, either from flooding, urine, or another similar reason. Our cleaning process in these situations is more detailed and time-consuming, but the rug may still be able to go through most of the regular cleaning process. With the specialized process, we may need to adjust or substitute our cleaning products and tools, as well as use a special sanitizing and odor treatment for the rug.
